The What of the Day

Hey there Treasure Seekers. Today’s what of the day is the scenic route. Yes, the scenic route only this scenic route that I’m referring to is the amount of time that it takes for some of us to reach our blessings.

For some, it seems as if their blessings come right to their front door, knock on it, and say, “Here I am.”, while other folks have to walk outside their home, get in their car, drive through the countryside for an enormous amount of time, and then finally reach the town of Blessing. I know that everyone is different; therefore, no one’s journey will be the same, but that still doesn’t stop the human in me from asking myself why that is as I’m driving my car past so in so’s house on my way to the countryside while their blessing is knocking on their front door. Then, I had to remind myself that I was on the outside looking in and didn’t know where they were in their journey to receive their blessing.

Who’s to say that they hadn’t already been to the countryside and back? So, I had to force myself to look through my windshield and pay attention to where I was going before I missed a turn on my journey to get to my blessing and have to turn around and start the trip all over again. I said all of that to say this, never envy someone on how quickly it seems that they’ve received their blessing or blessings because you don’t know what they’ve been through to get it or them. Just a little food for thought.
